These few photographs have no specific chronology. Just a glimpse of the players and others who help make the club special, not just for our players and supporters, but for visiting teams and officials as well.
| Telegraph Cup winners 1975. The team won this competition by beating Hook Norton comfortably. Taking part were stalwarts Gerald Wixey, Don and Ian Pert. A guide to the competitive nature of the team can be gauged by star all rounder Ken Ducket, who when dropped from a previous team, proceeded to dig their square up. All this at the tender age of 17. | |
| Ian Pert approaching one million laps of his beloved outfield. Ian has made the outfield his labour of love - manicured to produce an incredibly flat, fast surface - he seems offended if a fielder has the temerity to catch up with the ball. Weed, his brother's nickname for him, was a fine wicket keeper and a high scoring, hard hitting batsman, involved with the club for over 50 years. He is famed locally for his generosity in the bar! | |
| Trinity League 1993. The last year of the Trinity League meant at least a top two finish to qualify in division 2 of the reformed Cherwell League. In fact the runner up spot was achieved by a talented team which include an opera singer, a baby faced Australian quick and our own brilliant, long serving, psychotic wicket keeper. | |
| John and Stefan Pilcher, father and son, unstinting in their work for the club. John has been groundsman since 1985 and his tireless efforts are reflected in a square that produces good, quick cricket wickets. John is under 15 manager and involved in most of what goes on at Challow. Stefan is cricket secretary, third team captain, assistant groundsman under thirteen manager. Their efforts underpin the club and produce the unrivalled facilities that the players enjoy so much | |

Oxfordshire Knock Out runners up 1994. |
|
| Don Pert to the left of Nigel Cowley, with Frank Isihaak the other side, presenting the beneficiary with his cheque. Don, famous throughout Oxfordshire for his deep knowledge of public bars from Nigeria to Adelaide, is probably the most fanatically committed Challow supporter, more extreme than a one eyed Millwall fan! All should sample Don's happy hour(s) after work in the club - it has attained cult status - not to be missed. | |
| Oxfordshire Knockout Finals night 1985. This talented bunch features amongst others Nigel Hill, the pretty one in the front row, last seasons first team captain. Ian Pert is stood next to an unemployed 70's porn star and in the top left is Karl Humphries. Karl, who is without doubt our finest home grown quick bowler, nasty, short tempered and aggressively competitive and all of this attitude is in the bar after the game! | |
